Join Kristin for a unique class style! This online class taken from the comfort of your own home will leave you feeling relaxed and stretched. Yoga poses will be done on the floor, using pillows, blankets, blocks, etc. (anything you can find around the house) to support your stretch and relaxation session.
The beginning of class will include an introduction on the flow of class, how to use pillows/blankets/blocks/bolsters to support your body. We will do a few yoga postures together designed to ease and relax your body and mind.
The last 20 minutes of class include a guided meditation led by Kristin. Her voice is calming and soothing and will leave you ready to drift off to bed. You won't want to miss this class! The first part of class in yin & restorative yoga and the last 15 minutes are yoga nidra.
Yin/Nidra is a healing fusion class integrating the deeply therapeutic style of yin yoga with the relaxing and connecting practice of yoga nidra.
Yin yoga is a style in which postures are held for longer periods of time to stimulate the deep connective tissues of the body. Yin also strengthens the flow of prana and contributes to balancing the energetic systems of the body.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful guided meditation that creates relaxation and restoration in the mind and body.
Appropriate for all levels. Have blankets and pillows, or any other props from home to use during this practice. Get creative!
