About the Event
Functional flow is an intelligently sequenced class combining the modern research of biomechanics with the ancient practice of yoga. This therapeutic approach to yoga is designed to strengthen and stretch as we move and breathe. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, intentionally guided body awareness, and engagement of key muscles in order to experience a healthy range of motion to keep joints healthy and stable while building strength and ease in supporting muscles. The focus in Functional Flow is to build stability and mobility in the spine, shoulders, and hips, as well as other smaller joints in the body. This practice will keep you healthy on and off your mat!
