About the Event
Join Kristin for a relaxing evening at home. This class is offered every Wednesday and Sunday and will vary slightly each class. Kristin blends yin and restorative yoga, along with mindfulness and intention to create a relaxing, restorative practice. The class ends with 15 to 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra, which is form of guided meditation designed to get the brain waves into states of deep relaxation.
Create a sanctuary in your home for this practice. Find a quiet space away from the other humans you live with... FYI - closets can work well! Gathering any yoga props you may have (blocks & bolsters), and if you don't have these things, that's ok too! Also gather pillows, blankets, couch pillows, etc. Be creative - we can make anything work for this practice. Dress comfortably, in layers. Put on a relaxing, meditative playlist, and turn your camera off if you wish!
About Kristin: Kristin has been teaching yoga since 2015. She is a 200 hour RYT, and has also participated in several continuing education classes, working towards her 500 hour certificate. Kristin's teachings are soulful, intuitive, and very energetic in nature, balancing the subtle bodies and calming the mind. Kristin is encouraging, poetic, and creative. Kristin has a teaching style that highly emphasizes the mind and body connection, and how it applies to our modern lives for more awareness, balance, flexibility, and connection.
