At WIld Souls Yoga, health & wellness are a way of life to stay balanced and joyful. The Conscious Cleanse (purchase book on Amazon) is designed to detox the liver and kidneys, and rest and repair the body at a cellular level. Not to worry, you don't have to give up food during this 2 week journey! The idea is to eliminate the foods that put a strain on our body's functioning and to build better eating habits (and drinking water habits!).
Basically, the cleanse consists of eating whole foods that exist in nature, and eating as clean as possible. During the two weeks, we will eliminate alchohol, caffeine, chocolate, corn, dairy, eggs, grapefruit, nightshades, oranges, peanuts, shellfish, soy, squash, sweet potatoes, strawberries, sugar, wheat/gluten, and yeast. Whew! We know that is a lot, and it sounds daunting, but that's why we are offering it to our community to do in a group!
Lisa and Kristin have been doing this cleanse a few times a year, for several years now. And what they know for sure is that it is easier to do when you have a support system. So, please consider joining us for this free community event!
Cleanse will officially start Oct 14th. On our Oct 11th Zoom call, we will go over the plan for the cleanse and offer up helpful hints and tricks to prepare for your health detox. And we will end the cleanse right before Halloween, just in time for the holidays. This is a great way to set the tone for the upcoming holiday season, and how to build healthier eating habits. We will meet Oct 18th @ 7 pm on Zoom, and again on Oct 25th, same time. We will also have a Facebook group to chat throughout the two weeks, and beyond.
